“You Should Have Had an Abortion” vs. Every Life Matters

“We first look out for the weak, the poor, the vulnerable, the sick, the disabled—or we reject the way of Christ.”

Robert Christian's avatarMillennial

“You should have had an abortion.” These are the words KJ Harmon’s mom, Tasha, heard when an ultrasound technician informed her that her not-yet-born son’s kidney was full of cysts. This is the ultimate expression of the throwaway culture, where the imperfect are supposed to be discarded as worthless. It is part of a long history of dehumanization, bigotry toward those with disabilities, and eugenics-based reasoning by those who often consider themselves enlightened humanitarians.

FILIPINOS FOR LIFE OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE SCOTUS’ DECISION ON SAME SEX “MARRIAGE”

Because it seems common sense is a rarity nowadays, statements like these are needed.

truthsayer73's avatarFilipinos for Life

We, the members of Filipinos for Life, express our dismay at the recent decision of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to legalize same-sex “marriage”. We believe that SCOTUS acted outside the bounds of its authority in redefining the meaning of an institution which has been understood, from the beginning of human civilization, as the union between a man and a woman. This lamentable decision, which has no historical, traditional, cultural, or natural foundations, is based on an irrational sentimentality and a misplaced sense of compassion that fails to consider the future of the biological family, whose nature stems from the complementarity between man and woman. This radical departure from natural law introduces other forms of relationships, could deprive children of their right to their biological mother and father, and will ultimately be detrimental to the stability of economy and society. Moreover, it tramples on the right of…

Children as Collateral Damage

“As SSM becomes more common, the consequent physical and psychological effects on children and the vulnerability of the unborn will become more apparent.”

dboncan's avatarTheStrugglingDad

The SCOTUS decision legalizing same sex marriage is a diabolical attack against families and children, here’s why:

1. Once SS couples are given legal recognition to marry, many owners of businesses and institutions who will refuse to cater to SSM couples, on grounds of religious belief, can be hauled off to court, be meted out heavy fines and even lose their respective sources of income. This will affect the well-being of their respective families because it creates financial instability at home and when there is financial instability, children are the first to suffer. It has already happened in some states and is expected to get worse as more homosexual couples demand for these services.

2. The rise in homosexuals getting married will also spurn an increase in (underground) surrogate pregnancies that will cater to homosexual couples wanting their own children rather than adopting. SSM couples will choose, based on sperm and…

An open response to Taylor Swift’s rant against Apple

Hypocrites suck. Don’t be one.

junction10's avatarJunction10 Photography

Dear Taylor Swift,

I have read your open letter to Apple where you give your reasons for refusing to allow your album ‘1989′ to be included on their forthcoming Apple Music streaming service.

(For reference: http://taylorswift.tumblr.com/post/122071902085/to-apple-love-taylor)

I applaud it. It’s great to have someone with a huge following standing up for the rights of creative people and making a stand against the corporate behemoths who have so much power they can make or break someone’s career.

#OCSB . Pope Francis condemns “ideological colonization” (eg Ontario Sex ed) in schools

“The Ontario curriculum is full of ideological colonization that many good Catholics (and Muslims and Sikhs and Evangelicals and Hindus etc) CANNOT accept.”

catholicintelligenceassoc's avatarCIA Blog

First, let’s review what the Pope means by “ideological colonization”. He has used it several times over the last year and he always means LGBTQ agenda and “gender theory”

Here is but one example: In the Phillipines:

hhttp://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/kids-in-poor-countries-suffer-when-west-pushes-sex-agenda-pope-says-71803/

“The Pope referred to the imposition of foreign ideas into a culture as “ideological colonization,” adding that it is sometimes tied to financial assistance.

“I’ll give just one example that I saw myself,” he said to journalists on the flight. He recounted the case of a public service officer who sought loans in order to be able to build schools for the poor two decades ago.

She received the money, he said, on the condition that she insert a “well prepared” book into the curriculum to teach gender theory.”
